OFFICIAL SOUTH ALLEGHENY SCHOOL DISTRICT SOLICITATION FOR BIDS FOR SOUTH ALLEGHENY FOOTBALL STADIUM RENOVATIONS Public Notice is hereby given that South Allegheny School District is soliciting sealed bids for South Allegheny Football Stadium renovations in Glassport, PA until March 14, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. for a public bid opening in the Business Office Conference Room, 2743 Washington Boulevard, Liberty Borough, McKeesport, PA 15133. Specifications in support of the public advertisement for bids by South Allegheny School District can be obtained from the South Allegheny School District Business Office, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty, a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bid bond on the form provided and furnished by the Owner, or other form of security permitted by applicable law, in an amount of not less than ten percent of the total of the Base Bid made payable to or indemnifying the South Allegheny School District. A Non-Collusion Affidavit, Qualification Questionnaire, and a Certificate of Authority (if applicable) must also be submitted with each bid. All interested bidders must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, No. 442; Title VI and other applicable provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Department of Labor Equal Opportunity Clause (41 CFR 60-1.4); Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; and all other applicable State, Federal and Allegheny County laws and requirements. Corporations seeking to bid and organized under the laws of a state other than the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania must secure the appropriate certificates and authorizations permitting them to conduct business within the Commonwealth. The South Allegheny School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, or part thereof, or items therein and to waive any informality or irregularity in the bidding. A Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2016, at the Project Site. All parties are urged to attend. Meet at the School District Business Office.
