WASHINGTON COUNTY OPEN HOUSE PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING CANONSBURG LAKE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT Washington County, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), is holding an Open House Public Informational Meeting for the Chartiers Creek Bridge #12 (McDowell Lane over Canonsburg Lake) Replacement Project. The purpose of the Open House Public Informational Meeting is to share the bridge replacement plans, introduce the detour plan, and provide a typical roadway section. Members of the design team will be available to answer questions about the project and gather feedback. Anyone with knowledge of historical resources in the project area or comments on the potential impact to historic resources should attend this meeting. The purpose of the project is to replace and widen the existing bridge on McDowell Lane (T-717). The project is located in North Strabane and Peters Townships, Washington County.
