INVITATION FOR BIDS The Northern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center, 705 Stevenson Blvd., New Kensington, PA, will receive separate bids for the NWCTC Partial Roof Replacement, located at 705 Stevenson Boulevard, New Kensington, PA 15068. Bids shall be on a lump-sum basis. Segregated Bids will not be accepted. The Northern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center will receive sealed Bids mailed to 705 Stevenson Blvd, New Kensington, PA 15068, ATTN; Ms. Coleen Steim, Business Manager/Board Secretary, until 10:00 A.M. on April 12, 2017. Bids received after this time shall not be accepted. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at the Northern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center, 705 Stevenson Blvd., New Kensington, PA . All interested parties may attend. The Bids must be sealed and marked: Northern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center NWCTC Partial Roof Replacement Bid Documents are being distributed, with twenty-four hour prior notice of pick-up, by F. L. Haus Company, 921 Ridge Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. All prime bidders are REQUIRED to buy the full set of plans and specifications. No documents will be distributed until payment in the amount of [50.00 + tax and shipping] (non-refundable) payabale and received by F. L. Haus. Free examination of said documents is available at the office of Canzian/Johnston & Associates LLC and Pennsylvania Builders Exchange. A pre-bid conference has been scheduled Monday, April 3, 2017 at 1:30 P.M. at the site. All interested Bidders are recommended to attend. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Northern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the acceptable sureties, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bids, shall be submitted with each bid. The surety must be a Guarantee or Surety Company acceptable to the U.S. Government as published in Department of Treasury's Circular 570, latest edition and must be licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Contract for work under this Bid will obligate the Prime Contractor and subcontractors to comply with the requirements of Acts and Regulations of the Department of Labor and Industry of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and Minimum Wage Rates to be paid. The Northern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding.
