BOROUGH OF GLASSPORT ALLEGHENY COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING LERTA PROGRAM Please take notice that a Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at 6:00 p.m., in the Glassport Borough Council Chambers, 440 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport, PA 15045 in accordance with the requirements of the Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance Act (LERTA), to determine whether the establishment of a LERTA District is appropriate and to identify the physical boundaries of the LERTA District and to inform property owners within the Borough of Glassport about eligible projects that may qualify for the LERTA exemption. At the conclusion of the Public Hearing or 7:00 p.m., Borough Council will hold a Special Council Meeting to consider the advertisement of an Ordinance approving the adoption of the LERTA and creating the LERTA District, with final Ordinance adoption to occur at the regularly scheduled Council meeting on February 16, 2016.
